My Latest Bzzagent Product trial is: GARNIER FRUCTIS TRIPLE NUTRITION MIRACLE DRY OIL #GotitFree

I hadn't ever tried anything like GARNIER FRUCTIS TRIPLE NUTRITION MIRACLE DRY OIL, unless CHI oil is comparable. They seem quite different to me. I wasn't sure what to expect when the package arrived, but was excited to try something totally new. My first impression (once I got over the crazy long name!) was that the packaging was attractive. I like the tear shaped bottle and thought the size was generous for the price that it retails for (remember I got mine free ;-). My second impression, as I opened it up, was that it has a strong, rich, deep smell. At first I wasn't sure if I liked it, but when I spritzed it on my skin, starting with my hair and face, It really grew on me. The scent is warm, comforting, and kind of luxurious and tropical. I wanted to test the miracle dry part because I'm sure you have gotten oil on your clothes and had to mourn the loss of what was once a favorite tee and is now an oil stained mess. I sprayed it on my hands and rubbed them together. I have to give it to Garnier! The product dries immediately, and now, having use the product for a couple of weeks, I can say that it doesn't not transfer onto clothes and stain! That's a very big deal to me. Now let me tell you the results of GARNIER FRUCTIS TRIPLE NUTRITION MIRACLE DRY OIL on my hair, face and skin. I first tried it on my dry hair. It really didn't turn out very well for me. I am a caucasian female, 29 years old, with medium body hair. I highlight, so my hair can be a bit dry at the ends. Usually I use CHI oil at just the ends, but I sprayed the GARNIER FRUCTIS TRIPLE NUTRITION MIRACLE DRY OIL right on the roots and the result was a greasy look that wouldn't go away until I washed it. The next time I sprayed it just on the ends of damp hair and got the same result. The oil seemed to be too heavy for my hair. However, remember I said that i was moving and that's why I've been off my blog for awhile? Well, I moved to Sunny Florida from the frigid midwest. That's a big move for my hair and skin! lol. After a few daily trips to the pool, my hair was looking crazy! You would think I had put in in the frying pan! So, for the past two mornings, right after my shower, I spritz some GARNIER FRUCTIS TRIPLE NUTRITION MIRACLE DRY OIL on the ends of my hair (sparingly because a little goes a looooong way) and work it in with my fingers and then comb my hair out. It has the effect of immediately detangling my hair and defrizzing for the whole day. Now one thing that makes the product special is that it isn't just for hair. The first thing that made me fall in love with this product is what it does for skin. When my family and I got to Florida, we decided that after a 24 hour drive down and crazy fast unpack-a-thin, we deserved a vacation, so we went to Disney World. We couldn't have picked a more beautiful day for it. The weather was cool and the sun wasn't blazing down on us. It was enough to trick me into forgetting my sunblock. The results? A very painful sunburn! By the time we got in the car and headed home, I knew it was late and there wasn't going to be an opportunity to buy any after sun care lotion. It looked like I was going to have to tough it out, but when I got home I remembered my GARNIER FRUCTIS TRIPLE NUTRITION MIRACLE DRY OIL. I sprayed it on my angry skin and wha-lah! My shoulders, arms, and back were soothed into submission and I got a good night sleep. When I got up in the morning, the pain was gone. I sprayed my skin again and by the end of the day you would never know I had a sunburn in the first place! That's when I truly became a believer. Since then, I have used GARNIER FRUCTIS TRIPLE NUTRITION MIRACLE DRY OIL every day after my shower to moisturize my whole body, face, and ends of my hair. This is a big deal to me because I have never been a lotion routine kinda gal. I just don't have the patience, but I want soft, nice smelling skin like everyone else. My new GARNIER FRUCTIS TRIPLE NUTRITION MIRACLE DRY OIL routine makes me feel feminine and attractive. It boosts my whole morning! So, all of that to say, give it a try. You will find something that you love about it, whether it's skin, time saving, face, or hair repair! Over and Out! DK #GotitFree

What am I testing this week?

So this week I'm testing Smiley360.com and Influenster.com. I have a campaign going with Smiley360 for Children's Mucinex, but although I was notified that I would be receiving either a sample or full size product a few weeks ago, it still has not been shipped. I do believe they are legit and will ship it, just takes awhile, however before I put them on my official recommend list, I will wait to get the product. One plus with them is that they give digital coupons to share and we know how much I love coupons ;-) I just joined Influenster.com. It was the second time I have joined, actually. Initially when I signed up, something happened and I was unable to ever get back into my account, so I just rejoined. To get in with these guys you have to go to the site and request an invite. What are they looking for? They want to see that you have some social influence. Do you have Facebook, youtube, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.? I haven't been offered a campaign yet but that's because I'm brand new. I will let you know how it goes. In the mean time, if you have personal experience with either of these sites that you would like to share, please feel free! In other news 1. I got my full size trial of Garnier Fructis Triple Moisture Miracle Dry Oil. Very exciting! I will have a review posted sometime in the next week or two. 2. I am still testing and LOVING Shick Hydro Silk razor 3. Still Testing Kroger Greek, Greek light, and CarbMaster yogurt 4. Still testing and LOVING Glade Expressions Oil Diffusers and Fragrance Sprays. BTW, THIS ONE IS BY FAR MY FAVE!!! 5. Awaiting more products but we will be moving cross-country this weekend, so I won't be posting for those days. I will miss you invisible, silent readers! Dont forget to friend me on Facebook! I am adding the button to the blog today! Sincerely, Dana K

Kroger Greek Greek Light and CarbMaster Yogurts FROZEN!

If you are dieting like me; you already know that the most daunting challenge you face, on a daily basis, is the food cravings! For me its two things: Cheese and Ice-cream. I haven't really conquered the cheese yet. I just try to stay full, but I keep cheating with the cheese, so I am grateful to have discovered a way to have my cake and eat it too when it comes to my old friend ice-cream. You can do this with Greek, Greek Light, or Kroger CarbMaster. I like the texture of frozen Greek yogurt, but I love the dessert flavors of Kroger CarbMaster. Here's how I turn my favorite Carrot Cake CarbMaster yogurt into instant easy ice-cream. Are you ready for this? Step 1: Take 1 or more Kroger CarbMaster yogurt in desired flavor and place, in container, without opening, into the freezer. Step 2: Close the freezer door. Step 3: Open and eat! Heck! have 2!! That's seriously all there is to it. Sometimes I like to slice up some fruit and scoop my fro-yo into a bowl for the kiddos. It's a family fave! Thanks again Bzzagent! #GotitFree

I'm a Swaggable.com Agent and it's paying off

What is all this you ask? Well these are just a few of the hundreds of products that swag gable.com is giving away free. What's the catch? There isn't one! What a revaluation! Some companies are actually realizing that the best way to get the word out about their brand and their newest products is to give them away and let us tell the world for them. We want to try it free, and they want to save millions of dollars on advertisement by having us spread the word. With Facebook, twitter, blogs, etc, we are the most powerful marketing tool they have. Why is it believable? Because we are actually doing them the favor, not the other way around. I am a big skeptic of anything that claims to be free, so I made it my mission to check these freebie sites out and share the real ones. I'm doing this out of a passion that I have for trying free stuff. I am not a rich person, or a company, or anything like that. I consider myself a novice blogger/product tester/finder of free stuff. It took me years to weed out the garbage and get to the real deal. I kept seeing things posted by friends about getting free stuff only to follow the bogus link to a site that forced me through a million pages of survey questions, or "join our products", or whatever. I remember going through pages of partner offers for over an hour and then giving up. Why should I go through all that? So, I looked up some of the top, legit, product testing sites, spent a year finding the very very few legit ones, and promised not to share them with you until I have received the products or incentives offered. Here's what I've found and how I've found it. 1. I wrote to the top product offering sites and let them know that I am writing this blog and will gladly shout their praises from the digital mountain top! 2. It took a couple of weeks, but I started to get responses from the admins of some of the sites. 3. Bzzagent got in touch and let me know how they work and what I needed to do. I did it, and the products started arriving. I took short surveys (less than 5 minutes each) a couple of times a week to let them know what kind of products I'm interested in. They sent me a full size product and let me spread the word, in less than a week I got another product! A month later, I receive a product about once a week or more. 4. I joined Swaggable.com and did what they told me to do. I have been a member now for a couple of months and have built a following on their site by following other members Twitter style. I told them what products I wanted to try and waited patiently. No surveys, no nonsense, just a little bit of a wait and then came the free product trials! 5. Smiley 360 never responded to me but did offer me a free product, within a few days of joining. I am waiting for it to arrive now. Unlike Bzzagent.com and Swaggable.com they don't have a way for you to track your package, so when it arrives I will let you know but until then I am not greenlighting this one for you yet. I have a few more things in the works as we speak, but my progress will slow down a bit because we are moving across the country in the next week or so (waiting on good ole tax refunds) Again, if you have anything to add, or a site you want me to check out, let me know! Smooches! Dana W danakaywyrick@gmail.com

25 books you MUST read if you loved the Hunger Games

I'm working on this list as we speak, so let me know if you have anymore to add. I loved that the first one I saw was my favorite book from childhood "The Giver". I don't care how old you are, you owe it to yourself to read this brilliant cautionary tale, set in a possible future. In our pursuit of health, safety and perfection, will we lose our humanity? It's a question that many a brilliant mind are asking. How do I know this? You see it popping up in books over time, gaining in popularity because its in the back of our minds. What does the future hold? Will fear eventually turn us into monsters and heroes?

Schick Hydro Silk Razor: Whats so great about it?

So I have been raving about my new Schick Hydro Silk razor, that I received free from bzzagent.com (If you haven't checked them out yet, you might be crazy ;-), "but seriously, what is all the hype about?" You ask me. Well its similar to razors like Venus in design, but I like the handle better. It's just easier to grip. However, grip isn't everything is it? What really sets the Schick Hydro Silk razor apart from cousins like Venus, is the unique moisture serum surrounding the blades. Like I said before, we have all tried the razors that have the lovely lotion around the blade. The first couple of shaves are great, but then, inevitably, the nice lotion bar dries out, cracks, and falls off, long before you are ready to change the super expensive blade. The Schick Hydro Silk razor has a much better design. Instead of a lotion bar surrounding the blades, there is smooth plastic with little bitty holes in it that react to water and release the magic moisture serum. I don't know what's in it, but I do know that it works! I shaved my legs this morning. It is now evening, and my legs still feel smooth and hydrating. Another big thanks to Bzzagent for letting me try this product! #GotitFree

One of my new freebie friends: Freebie Shark

http://www.freebieshark.com I just recently friended these guys on Facebook. They have a lot to offer and a full staff where this page has only me :-) I recommend friending them on Facebook or Twitter. Several times a day they add deals, coupons, and great freebies! They don't personally give out the freebies. They watch the web and tell you which manufacturers are giving their products away free or sampling.

Kroger CARBmaster milk and yogurt and Kroger Greek and Greek Light yogurt

I had the pleasure of product testing Kroger CARBmaster milk and yogurt and Kroger Greek and Greek Light yogurt from www.bzzagent.com What a fantastic experience! I have since then, been back to the store for more. I think my family is addicted. I knew that Kroger made high quality products, so I was expecting greatness already, but I didn't know how good these products were for my family and I. I wouldn't say I'm lactose intolerant, but the older I get, the more sensitive my digestive systems seems to get. I haven't really done the milk thing in a couple of years. If I do consume milk it's usually coconut or almond milk. I was impressed not just by the taste of Kroger CARBmster vanilla milk, but by the nutritional value. With benefits like low amounts of sugar and more protein than Almond milk, and being lactose free, Kroger CARBmaster milk is a great option for me. The kids and I enjoyed the Kroger Greek yogurt. I had never had Greek yogurt before. I was really pleasantly surprised by the flavor and texture. At first I wasn't sure if I liked it or not, but I actually wound up loving the Honey flavored Greek yogurt. The kids favor the Blueberry flavor with awesome chunks of real blueberries. So, check it out if you get a chance and feel free to leave me a comment about what you think :-)

Glade Expressions Pineapple & Mangosteen Oil Diffuser and Starlit Evening Fragrance Spray

BzzAgent.com in all of their awesomeness sent me coupons for a free trial of Glade Expressions Collection Oil Diffuser and a Fragrance spray. I chose Pineapple & Mangosteen for the oil diffuser and Starlit Evening for the fragrance spray. I have to admit, I am partial to the oil diffuser. I put it in the largest room in my house and it filled the room with a warm, tropical fragrance within minutes. The scent is so soothing and warm that it really transforms the space. I thought, "Hmm. I wonder if this thing could warm up my kids' stinky bathroom." So, I put the oil diffuser to the test. Folk, at this very moment, it is in that bathroom conquering the stinkyness of having 2 children in potty training in one small room. The fragrance spray is more subtle. The smell itself doesn't last as long as I would like it to, but I have to give Glad a lot of credit because it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It annihilates the odor in the room. We have 2 rats, and they are great family members, but they are stinky guys. The fragrance spray smells nice, and neutralizes their ratty musk. All in all, I highly recommend the Glade Expressions line, but if I had to pick.......hands down the oil diffuser. You need one. Trust me. ;-) #GotitFree

I got my free Schick Hydro Silk product test this weekend. I didn't have time to jump in the shower this morning, so my new razor had the challenge of taking on legs and underarms with a sink and a time limit. Let me tell you, there is not a razor bump in sight, my skin is smooth and silky, and I am happy. I have been a long time user of Venus razors, and I really didn't know what I was missing. All I knew was that I loved them for the first couple of shaves, and then things would really start to go down hill. The lotion bars were gooey and slimy, and didn't really leave my skin feeling smooth or soft. Worst of all they cost a fortune because the blades constantly have to be replaced. Schick Hydro Silk razors are designed differently. Instead of the blades being surrounded in goo or lotion bars that dry out, crack and fall off, prompting me to change the blade out, Schick Hydro Silk has smooth plastic surrounding the blade, with tiny holes that react to water to create a smooth glide, and a comfortable shave. I was immediately impressed by how soft my underarms and legs felt right after using this razor. I strongly recommend that you try it out !! More Coupons!! This site offers coupons that are not available on coupons.com

Like I said before, I will not link anything that I don't personally use. I use this site as well as coupons.com because it offers additional coupons. They are few, but golden! If you have downloaded the coupon printer for smart source or coupons.com, there should be nothing else to download. Check back here weekly for updated coupons. You can just check the same link each time. Again, I welcome any recipes for Fall. I would love to hear your favorites!

Making Money from Home (from a real person's perspective)

So, my husband got a new job, forcing me to quit my part time job. While I am not too worried about money because of his income, I have always liked to make a little money of my own. Since I am a mommy, I needed to find a way to make a little bit of cash working from home. I don't know about you, but I'm not one to pay into some work from home deal. So, I tried out a few paid survey sites. You have probably heard about these and if you have tried them, you know they are not going to make you rich, but they are actually kind of fun, and if you aren't looking to get rich or make a real income, I have some advice. So, here are a few of my favorites.....(BTW, these are sites that I use and have received payment or free products to test) 1. Global Test Market You take surveys for points that can be redeemed for cash, or gift certificates to places like Amazon.com. While the points don't add up very quickly, the fun is in the product testing. About every third survey that I take ends of offering me a product to test. How does it work? I take a survey and if I am qualified, they ship me a product to test for a period of time. Then I return to the site to take a survey about the product. They ship it for free, the product is free, and I get paid to give my opinion about it. Win Win! So, if you would like to try this one, I highly recommend it. You can sign up here Online Paid Surveys 2. Opinion Outpost This is the best one I have seen for actual payout. They will pay you cash on your paypal account for taking surveys, or in Amazon.com cards. I don't like dealing with Paypal, so I take the Amason.com online gift cards. I was with Opinion Outpost for less than 2 months and I had already earned enough points to cash out $15.00 in Amazon gift card points. They offer about as many surveys as you can find time to take 3. Ipsos Isay This one is about the same as the two before, same kinds of payouts, and again, I like this one a lot because they send me freebies to test. I know it sounds too good to be true, but there are about a million of these supposed paid survey sites, and these are fun, legit, and if you like to try fun new things before anyone else, they are for you! This week I am testing: Toilet paper, Chocolate bars, veggie Burgers, and a new perfume

MY FAVORITE COUPON POLICY (This Week)

So we have all noticed our favorite stores tightening up those coupon policies to keep us couponers from getting the deals that we crave. I was disappointed to find that most of the stores in my area have disallowed using a store coupon with a manufacturer's coupon, and none of the stores in my area offer regular bogo deals. This put a real damper on my couponing spirit until I found that one of my favorite stores had one of the most liberal coupon policies. The best part is that they don't even know it! So here's what to do. Go to http://target.com and print their free printable coupons. Then print these coupons (On my blog duh!) and use them together to get insane savings. If you find a Target coupon that doesn't have a match on my blog, go to the manufacturer's site! Some of them make you sign up, but they are all free and most have their own secret coupons! Let me know how it goes, and, as always, I am here to answer questions. Your friend, Dana Kay

How coupons work!

If you have ever used coupons at the grocery store, then you know the routine. You cut coupons out of newspapers and magazines, take them to the store and use them to get discounts on certain products. A coupon is the same as cash. For example, if you have a $1.00 off coupon on a box of cereal, the cashier takes the coupon as though it were cash. It's not that common any more, but some stores will even double a coupon's face value.
Once the cashier accepts the coupon, the store has a problem. It now has a small scrap of paper that is worth cash, but in order to get the cash the store has to mail the coupon to the manufacturer. On the back of most coupons in fine print, the manufacturer lists the mailing address and states that it will also reimburse the store some amount of money for processing -- typically 8 cents per coupon. Redeeming a coupon would not be that bad if there were only a few of them, but major grocery chains collect millions of them. At that scale it becomes a major headache! The whole process seems hopelessly antiquated, but coupons remain enormously popular and that is why they continue. A coupon is, essentially, free money, and free money is hard to stop...

Publix Coupons and newspaper coupons

I picked up a book with several pages of coupons at Publix the other day. Did you know that if you look on the customer service counter and sometimes sprinkled throughout the store, you can find Publix coupons? You can actually use those coupons in combination with the printable coupons here, to save more money.

I also bought two of my local papers Sunday. I spent about $3.00, but since they have some of the same, but some different coupons, I will save about $50.00, or more if I combine. So, to get the most coupons possible this week, grab the freebies at Publix, print the new ones here, and buy two news papers. Then, if you are feeling really ambitious, you can actually go directly to the manufacturer's websites of foods that you buy regularly. Often you  will find there are coupons there as well. Don't try to rely on big coupon websites because they don't update and half of what you find there will be outdated.

Here's a site where you can print coupons for organic Apple and Eve Juices.
http://www.appleandeve.com/coupon/
fill in your name and email and they will immediately give you two coupons. I gave them my info and they haven't bothered me at all, so you don't have to worry about them spamming you.

The Publix that you don't know ;-)

Here's what I found out about Publix couponing. Last week, I went into my local Publix with my coupons. I had a few coupons that I had clipped from food packages, and the coupons that I had printed. I printed the same coupons a few times. I didn't know until recently that I could do that. You can do it too. You can actually print these coupons a few times before you reach your limit. That's how you really save cash.
So here's how it went down. I found out that I could use coupons on the buy one get one free items. Publix offers a bunch of buy one get one items that change over every Wednesday. The secret is that you can actually use two coupons that those items! That's how I bought 4 large bags of Chex Mix and paid less than $2.00. Then the cashier was kind enough to share with me that while Publix no longer doubles coupons, they do combine coupons. Here's an example: Betty Crocker Cheesy Potatoes were $1.90 each. There was a store coupon on the box for $1.00 off a box, and I printed a free coupon from the list below for .75 cents off a box of the same potatoes. I had 3 coupons, so I paid 15cents a piece for the potatoes!

Couponing is a rush and it doesn't have to be complicated. There are just a few tricks to know and off you go. Email me if you have questions. jubbyscloset@gmail.com
