Formerly Coupon Sweeper. I used to provide printable coupons but then I noticed that you can get those anywhere. Why get a discount when you can GET IT FREE? Lots of sites offer things that are "free" and they aren't really free, like "you pay the shipping" or "accept our partners offers". Bollucks! Balderdash! I have made it my mission to test these sites myself and you won't hear a thing about them until I have received my incentive and/or free merchandise.

What am I testing this week?
So this week I'm testing Smiley360.com and Influenster.com. I have a campaign going with Smiley360 for Children's Mucinex, but although I was notified that I would be receiving either a sample or full size product a few weeks ago, it still has not been shipped. I do believe they are legit and will ship it, just takes awhile, however before I put them on my official recommend list, I will wait to get the product. One plus with them is that they give digital coupons to share and we know how much I love coupons ;-)
I just joined Influenster.com. It was the second time I have joined, actually. Initially when I signed up, something happened and I was unable to ever get back into my account, so I just rejoined. To get in with these guys you have to go to the site and request an invite. What are they looking for? They want to see that you have some social influence. Do you have Facebook, youtube, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.? I haven't been offered a campaign yet but that's because I'm brand new. I will let you know how it goes. In the mean time, if you have personal experience with either of these sites that you would like to share, please feel free!
In other news
1. I got my full size trial of Garnier Fructis Triple Moisture Miracle Dry Oil. Very exciting! I will have a review posted sometime in the next week or two.
2. I am still testing and LOVING Shick Hydro Silk razor
3. Still Testing Kroger Greek, Greek light, and CarbMaster yogurt
4. Still testing and LOVING Glade Expressions Oil Diffusers and Fragrance Sprays. BTW, THIS ONE IS BY FAR MY FAVE!!!
5. Awaiting more products but we will be moving cross-country this weekend, so I won't be posting for those days. I will miss you invisible, silent readers!
Dont forget to friend me on Facebook! I am adding the button to the blog today!
Sincerely,
Dana K

One of my new freebie friends: Freebie Shark
http://www.freebieshark.com
I just recently friended these guys on Facebook. They have a lot to offer and a full staff where this page has only me :-) I recommend friending them on Facebook or Twitter. Several times a day they add deals, coupons, and great freebies! They don't personally give out the freebies. They watch the web and tell you which manufacturers are giving their products away free or sampling.

More Coupons!! This site offers coupons that are not available on coupons.com
Like I said before, I will not link anything that I don't personally use. I use this site as well as coupons.com because it offers additional coupons. They are few, but golden! If you have downloaded the coupon printer for smart source or coupons.com, there should be nothing else to download. Check back here weekly for updated coupons. You can just check the same link each time.
Again, I welcome any recipes for Fall. I would love to hear your favorites!

Making Money from Home (from a real person's perspective)
So, my husband got a new job, forcing me to quit my part time job. While I am not too worried about money because of his income, I have always liked to make a little money of my own. Since I am a mommy, I needed to find a way to make a little bit of cash working from home. I don't know about you, but I'm not one to pay into some work from home deal.
So, I tried out a few paid survey sites. You have probably heard about these and if you have tried them, you know they are not going to make you rich, but they are actually kind of fun, and if you aren't looking to get rich or make a real income, I have some advice.
So, here are a few of my favorites.....(BTW, these are sites that I use and have received payment or free products to test)
1. Global Test Market
You take surveys for points that can be redeemed for cash, or gift certificates to places like Amazon.com. While the points don't add up very quickly, the fun is in the product testing. About every third survey that I take ends of offering me a product to test. How does it work? I take a survey and if I am qualified, they ship me a product to test for a period of time. Then I return to the site to take a survey about the product. They ship it for free, the product is free, and I get paid to give my opinion about it. Win Win!
So, if you would like to try this one, I highly recommend it. You can sign up here
Online Paid Surveys
2. Opinion Outpost
This is the best one I have seen for actual payout. They will pay you cash on your paypal account for taking surveys, or in Amazon.com cards. I don't like dealing with Paypal, so I take the Amason.com online gift cards. I was with Opinion Outpost for less than 2 months and I had already earned enough points to cash out $15.00 in Amazon gift card points. They offer about as many surveys as you can find time to take
3. Ipsos Isay
This one is about the same as the two before, same kinds of payouts, and again, I like this one a lot because they send me freebies to test.
I know it sounds too good to be true, but there are about a million of these supposed paid survey sites, and these are fun, legit, and if you like to try fun new things before anyone else, they are for you!
This week I am testing: Toilet paper, Chocolate bars, veggie Burgers, and a new perfume

MY FAVORITE COUPON POLICY (This Week)
So we have all noticed our favorite stores tightening up those coupon policies to keep us couponers from getting the deals that we crave. I was disappointed to find that most of the stores in my area have disallowed using a store coupon with a manufacturer's coupon, and none of the stores in my area offer regular bogo deals. This put a real damper on my couponing spirit until I found that one of my favorite stores had one of the most liberal coupon policies.
The best part is that they don't even know it! So here's what to do. Go to http://target.com and print their free printable coupons. Then print these coupons (On my blog duh!) and use them together to get insane savings. If you find a Target coupon that doesn't have a match on my blog, go to the manufacturer's site! Some of them make you sign up, but they are all free and most have their own secret coupons!
Let me know how it goes, and, as always, I am here to answer questions.
Your friend,
Dana Kay

How coupons work!
If you have ever used coupons at the grocery store, then you know the routine. You cut coupons out of newspapers and magazines, take them to the store and use them to get discounts on certain products. A coupon is the same as cash. For example, if you have a $1.00 off coupon on a box of cereal, the cashier takes the coupon as though it were cash. It's not that common any more, but some stores will even double a coupon's face value.
Once the cashier accepts the coupon, the store has a problem. It now has a small scrap of paper that is worth cash, but in order to get the cash the store has to mail the coupon to the manufacturer. On the back of most coupons in fine print, the manufacturer lists the mailing address and states that it will also reimburse the store some amount of money for processing -- typically 8 cents per coupon. Redeeming a coupon would not be that bad if there were only a few of them, but major grocery chains collect millions of them. At that scale it becomes a major headache! The whole process seems hopelessly antiquated, but coupons remain enormously popular and that is why they continue. A coupon is, essentially, free money, and free money is hard to stop...

Publix Coupons and newspaper coupons
I picked up a book with several pages of coupons at Publix the other day. Did you know that if you look on the customer service counter and sometimes sprinkled throughout the store, you can find Publix coupons? You can actually use those coupons in combination with the printable coupons here, to save more money.
I also bought two of my local papers Sunday. I spent about $3.00, but since they have some of the same, but some different coupons, I will save about $50.00, or more if I combine. So, to get the most coupons possible this week, grab the freebies at Publix, print the new ones here, and buy two news papers. Then, if you are feeling really ambitious, you can actually go directly to the manufacturer's websites of foods that you buy regularly. Often you will find there are coupons there as well. Don't try to rely on big coupon websites because they don't update and half of what you find there will be outdated.
Here's a site where you can print coupons for organic Apple and Eve Juices.
http://www.appleandeve.com/coupon/
fill in your name and email and they will immediately give you two coupons. I gave them my info and they haven't bothered me at all, so you don't have to worry about them spamming you.

The Publix that you don't know ;-)
Here's what I found out about Publix couponing. Last week, I went into my local Publix with my coupons. I had a few coupons that I had clipped from food packages, and the coupons that I had printed. I printed the same coupons a few times. I didn't know until recently that I could do that. You can do it too. You can actually print these coupons a few times before you reach your limit. That's how you really save cash.
So here's how it went down. I found out that I could use coupons on the buy one get one free items. Publix offers a bunch of buy one get one items that change over every Wednesday. The secret is that you can actually use two coupons that those items! That's how I bought 4 large bags of Chex Mix and paid less than $2.00. Then the cashier was kind enough to share with me that while Publix no longer doubles coupons, they do combine coupons. Here's an example: Betty Crocker Cheesy Potatoes were $1.90 each. There was a store coupon on the box for $1.00 off a box, and I printed a free coupon from the list below for .75 cents off a box of the same potatoes. I had 3 coupons, so I paid 15cents a piece for the potatoes!
Couponing is a rush and it doesn't have to be complicated. There are just a few tricks to know and off you go. Email me if you have questions. jubbyscloset@gmail.com
